Great Nikka Costa video

When I recorded ‘Without a Bridge’, I had the honor to play with some terrific musicians. One of them was the bass player, Shawn Davis. Well, he’s doing great things playing bass with Nikka Costa. Here’s a video of her on Lenno a few days ago. Shawn is on the far right of the video screen.
Her new record is out. Get it! I was there during some of the recording in Hollywood. She recorded at the old A&M studios where, among others, ‘We Are the World’ was recorded and where a lot of the video for that song was shot. The pictures in the hallways of that studio are classic. It was humbling to think of the talented musicians that had spent time there over the years.
